There is a "Pet Parent Endorsement" that can be added to a policy. Pet Parent Coverage provides limited coverage for certain pet-related expenses and damage.
It may cover:
Veterinary care, burial, or disposal costs if a household pet is injured or dies because of a covered loss at the residence.
Pet boarding costs when a covered loss makes the residence unfit to live in.
Damage caused by a household pet to the landlord’s property, after applicable security or pet deposits.
Coverage, availability, limits, and exclusions vary by policy and state.
